Carol Choi is a self-taught illustrator, cartoonist, and storyteller currently living in San Diego with her husband, daughter, and a handsome dog named Woody. She enjoys encapsulating hilarious and endearing moments and conversations into comics or illustrations.

Carol holds a B.S. in Mathematics/Economics from the University of California Los Angeles, and has worked as a tax professional for a number of years. During those years, she kept a blog called “Little Things Noticed,” where she made space to create for herself and dreamed of becoming an author/illustrator of children’s books. She made her debut as children’s book illustrator with “Hold Yer Horses, Pardner!” written by Cody Spencer.

She is a spouse of an active duty military member, sixteen years and counting, and so has been moving around the country every two to three years. Whenever she misses her family back home, she turns to drawing to stay connected. In her spare time, she enjoys putting things in her Amazon cart and not buying any of them.
